Theresa Manderski writes free form poetry that resists explanation and ignores rules that don’t serve the work. She is a mother, daughter, sister, and wife—roles shaped by experience and still evolving.
Her writing moves through tension and release, from sharp, interior moments to quiet observations of the world around her. Some pieces come from lived experience with trauma and healing; others rest in stillness, in nature, or in the ordinary rhythms of daily life. She is less interested in telling a reader what something means and more interested in letting a moment stand on its own.
Diagnosed with CPTSD later in life, she writes from awareness, not urgency. Her work does not seek to resolve—it notices, holds, and sometimes lets go.
